Te kuri a Paoa.

 This week we have been learning about Paoa and Kiwa through art. We had to do some experiments on blending pastel together to create colours, we figured out that blue and yellow made light green. We smudged lots of colours to make the fur and saddle look like the real colour. My favourite part was drawing young nicks head because we got to blend lots of colours together. The hardest part of all was designing the patterns up the top. I hope you like my post, This is my art of Te Kuri a Paoa.

My tornado shelter.

 This week we have been learning how to make connections between what we read. I enjoyed designing my shelter. I wanted it to look like it had been designed with a real pen and paper. And this is what it turn out to be. I found it challenging to draw the objects in the shelter and they look a bit wobbly. My learning intention  shows that I can embed a google slide. 10 tornado facts!

 This week we were learning how to make connections between what we read. This will explain things about tornadoes that you probably do not even know about. I enjoyed learning about them so I can teach other people about them. I really found it challenging to try and find the right facts that make sense to me. My optical illusion

This week I was learning how to make connections between what we read. I tried my hardest to make it look real. I enjoyed creating my optical illusion also it was hard on the other hand. I had to use remove background for it. It is a app that you can remove backgrounds off your images that you get.  My connection shows that I can make my own optical illusion. My digital object shows that I can use remove background. I can Have you ever tried making an optical illusion? Does mine look real? Do you no what an optical illusion is?  Have you used remove background.

My goals this year.

Today I was learning how to make goals for this year. I chose hinehakirirangi because she takes challenges and I think it gets you far in life. My number one goal this year is to improve my times table

My blanket

This week we were writing about our favourite piece of clothing or blanket. I enjoyed writing about them because it really brought back memories. I named mine tutu it is canadian for teddy. But it is  actually a blanket. Hope you like my post.

 

Sea week.

This week is sea week. We had to make a slide, google drawing, or a doc. I chose google drawing. We needed to find facts on the internet about our favourite sea animal. Mine is a penguin which you can see. This will tell you what penguins predator are, what they are called in a group, types of penguins, and which one is the tallest. Hope you like My post.

February Reflection.

This is my February reflection. This will tell you all about what my favourite things we have done in subjects. I enjoyed writing the things I like because It gets you to know me  more. I found it challenging to find which reading activity I liked the most because there was so many different ones to pick and it was so hard to decide!!! I hope you like my post.

My graph.

  Over the past few weeks I have been learning how to make a graph. I watched several videos of how to make one. I found it challenging to understand how to make one but I got there. I found out the that there are more year 6 girls than boys. But more boys like Mcds. I hope you like my post.
