Thwack the bus door went, you are probably thinking why a bus door  is opening because our whole family is there and it fills a whole big bus so we have our own one. 

We were at a go kart place that had a paintball arena. No one was going to do it. When the manager was about to pack up most of our family chose to do paintballing.

When we walked in I was surprised. The helmets were like grey skimming stones and the safe place was like an army meeting place. I think I was about to go to war. The gear on me was like a green guey giant stepping on me. But then he put some smaller gear which was light as a feather. It wasn't actually that light but it was still light. There was a giant discussion on the rules. It was like waiting for a black and white  cow trying to give birth. The manager's number one rule was keep your helmet on. We had to pick  what would happen if someone took their helmet off. 1. Everyone gets one shot at you. I wanted to do that one cause it sounded fun. 2. They get off the field. At the end we 

chose the second one.

 

So first we got our guns and gathered outside. I was excited to shoot someone. I can’t wait. But first we had to take some photos. It was very boring. The second one was fun because we all got to point our guns at my grandpa. I wish I could have done that in the real game. The game was to grab a Black  flag and get to the other side. The whistle blew and we started. My cousin was scared like a cat being threatened. I got shot thousands of times I got hit in the hand it stung. My gun was all slimy like yummy jelly. In the end we won so the people who had some more bullets would go in a different round. 

We could shoot anyone so I did. I shot my uncle in the face and he got a shock like a person being electrocuted by yellow lighting. Me and my dad were being shot every direction. And we only had one place to hide. But we were still the last people standing. It was the best. At the end I went to the go karts. It was the best time ever.

Tsunami alert

 We were doing research on tsunamis when a big bell went off, it was short but did not stop. When we heard the bell we hurried under the tables and curled up into a ball. We practised holding our heads and table legs  because we would have two do that in a real earthquake drill.  Jakob R and I were playing chopsticks because we were bored. After that we lined up at the door and carefully walked outside following the teacher. The whole school was like a stamp peed of antelopes. The whole school met at the front of the school and started to walk. We were walking to Beetham rest home because that is our school's safe zone. We went over the tall bridge with yukkie brown water underneath. I was thinking to myself why where we were walking over a bridge in a tsunami. It was a bit silly. But then Mrs Tilly told us that the water  wouldn't rise up this far in time, and that we have 10 minutes to get over the bridge. 

 Because we would probably be running in a real one. It was a really long walk.

On the way we saw some gigantic cows and bull’s we only saw one bull. But also on the farm they had two little baby's which are called calves. They had giant horns with big bellies. They were definitely the biggest cow’s I have seen. There was a big hill we had to walk up but at the end we were all fine. There were some old people waving at us from their apartments.

Once we stopped at the spot we all sat down and waited for Matua Aiden to call our names. The grass was very annoying. We started two play chopsticks again. There were four buses. They were really big. The seats were different, and my brother's class was in it too. Once we got to school it was morning tea time.

Holiday writing

On saturday me and my brother. Was with our dad going to speedway. We all hopped into the wild track (truck). Then we set off to get my cousin named Josh. He is 22 years old. Then we went to get kfc. I am not a big fan so I did not finish it. I got a burger with fries. I got two refills of l&p. That never happens. After we finished we went to the speedway track. On the way there we guessed how many rolls there would be. Which means if a car rolls over. I guessed two I think I will probably win. Like I always win paper scissors rock  against my brother. When we got there I was so excited to see the cars race.

Then we went two see the pits.  Which is where they keep all the cars. The super stocks were bigger than I thought. So after that we went to get a cozy spot. It was not that cozy at the start. It was very dusty. So they started racing the first cars they are called tQ’s they are very fast. Then came the stock cars. On the first lap there was a roll already. Then went the red light. They got the car off the track and we were racing again. I could not believe my eyes. There was a second roll on the 2 lap. Well that was the best race. So far. Then came the super stocks, saloons, street stocks, tQ’s again,more saloons, more stock cars and lots of super stocks.

At the time I was really tired. So much racing. Even my dad was famished. It was a really early finishing speedway but we were still happy. Like I told you I won the  comp of how many rolls there would have been. Broom broom the car went. Of we go  home. That was the best night ever.
